  • Brand design

SET ACTIVE is a direct-to-consumer apparel start-up launched in 2017 and based in Los Angeles, CA.

Made to match in monochrome tones, SET’s apparel – activewear, sweats, basics, underwear, loungewear, sleepwear, and swimwear – is defined by functional versatility, refined style, and elevated comfort.

I work with the Marketing Director to create and execute concepts for initiatives and campaigns, including the 2020 Black Friday + Cyber Monday campaign, their first-ever creative collaboration (with actress Madelyn Cline from Netflix’s Outer Banks), a product relaunch for the SET BASICS line, and a few other projects that are hush hush for the moment.

Black Friday + Cyber Monday Campaign

Instagram is SET ACTIVE’s primary marketing channel. During the week of Black Friday + Cyber Monday, their creative team ran Instagram stories and posts to promote new and returning collections. Below are sample images and videos that I produced for the campaign.

This campaign tripled SET ACTIVE’s monthly revenue, compared to the previous year.

SET by Madelyn Cline

This launch marked SET ACTIVE’s first creative collaboration; it featured original products developed in collaboration with actress Madelyn Cline from Netflix’s Outer Banks.

To commemorate the significance of the partnership, SET requested new, unique logo variations for the line. I produced two logos, as well as tech packs to streamline the production process as SET’s creative team in Los Angeles worked remotely with Madelyn in South Carolina.

The following images show the logo variations in use, both on the final products and in campaign promotional assets.

Several items within the collection sold out within minutes.

SET BASICS Collection

After several years in business, SET elected to redesign and elevate their Basics line. I supported the creative team by reimagining and testing the placement of a linear logo lockup with a fabric tag sewn onto the pieces – a departure from their previous use of a circular logo puff printed.

And just for fun, I created stickers with illustrations of SET’s most popular basics and bras.

Below you’ll find samples from the SET Basics development process, tech pack, and final products.
